I am building a PVC gate attached to horse stalls in an old barn. The PVC gate building was super easy and fits surprisingly well. The problem is I'm not sure how to connect a hinge to the wood beam. The PVC is 2" PVC which has a OD of 2 and 3/8". I bought gate hinges from tractor supply but made a bone head mistake of getting 2" hinges which are for actual 2" poles.....These are the biggest pipe gate hinges I can find. How can I make this work? Use reducers to mismatch PVC and pipe? Im concerned the connections wont really match up and work from PVC to pipe...Picture of gate....need to the right gate to the wall by me. http://ift.tt/2goHe7A via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2hJX3lW
