Hello all, I'm Alex. A 22 year old shmuck with no job and nothing to his name. I live in an apartment in Worcester MA with my GF and her roommate. I currently have no monthly expenses myself. I collect unemployment after being laid off during the slow season at my last job 2 and 1/2 hours away from where I live now. My GF basically supports me which is something I wasn't able and still am not able to deal with.
I've been looking for work for quite some time now, nothing has stuck more than a few weeks for me. I'm desperately searching for work constantly as we really need the income. My GF commutes to work from Worcester to Taunton MA every day and it's taking its toll.
What I'm asking is for some guidance. I know I need a job but that's only minimum wage. I'd be making double what I do now in unemployment. I just feel stuck in this apartment and don't see a way out. Any advice or anything would be immensely appreciated. Thank you for reading this and have a great day.
