I’m currently a fourth year student (five year program) whose FAFSA didn’t reflect certain financial struggles. Last year, I was working at a paid-internship (mandatory from our school) and because I made a significant amount, I was unable to receive some government help. What it didn’t mention, however, was that summer school (also mandatory) is extremely expensive and we don’t receive help from the school - about $15,000/$16,000 for two 4 credit hour classes. I’ve heard that some student have appealed and their school has given them more money. How would I approach this? Thanks in advance!
