Hi all,
I've had some really rough winters over the last few years, as I suffer from seasonal affective disorder. I just recently moved from Virginia to Chicago for work and this means I will be introduced to an even more brutal winter than I've previously experienced.
I'm looking to add to my list of ideas for some tips or advice on frugal things to do during the winter in the evenings after work and over the weekends. Right now, all I'm doing is sitting around my apartment sulking because of the weather change (it's already averaging the 50s and 40s here now).
I'm really trying to keep spending low in the next few months, so I can pay off credit cards and start some decent savings.
I've already thought up a few things (learn a language, read more, take up painting, study and take certification exams), but would love any other input!
