I went to college for three semesters, two at one college when I was 18 right after high school, and one at a different one the next year, but I didn’t go back after Christmas. I messed up (not managing free time, never had to study before, and depression/anxiety) and probably failed the majority of classes those semesters, too. I guess I can see, but would credits last that long? I was told they don’t usually.

Anyway, I currently make $12.33 an hour at 38-40 a week, which also gives a bonus at the end of Nov or beginning of December (last year I made roughly $1500 and I was full time only 8/9 months) and a part time job at $11 an hour, anywhere from 0 to 9 hours a week, depending on if I can get a ride into/from work and my full time job not conflicting (I only work two days a week, 4-4.5 hours during a specific time). I have a permit, but not a license, I still need more practice driving. I do have a car I bought from my grandfather that I still have to pay $800 on. Planning on paying that by Thanksgiving. I will update with biweekly earnings after taxes and insurance tomorrow.

I still have student loans, but due to personal issues (depression and anxiety), I have done barely any work on those, because I thought if I ignored it they wouldn’t stress me out. I think I have them on auto-payments at $100 per month, but I have no idea on how to look at all that stuff.

I have horrible credit (again, not sure how to check) my bank wouldn’t give me a $2000 loan to get the car from my grandfather, he just allows me to pay him once a month at $500 if I can.

I use to blow money stupidly on games, eating out or fast food, and stuff from Amazon I don’t really need but wanted, but I’ve gotten much better at that. I currently have $600 in my checking account but that’s it. I don’t pay rent currently (work a deal with parents involving helping with younger siblings) and pay $60-$70 a month for my phone, for the next couple years. I also pay $30-40 for Life and Auto Insurance through another company, dental and life through work but unsure how much, going to get bosses help with that tomorrow. And I will be signing up for Health Insurance soon, I need to go back to therapy for my mental health.

I’d like to go back to school, or do an online schooling so I can work full time at least, but I have no idea how to even begin that. I’ve looked up options for online schooling (I want to do Computer Science or Accounting), but I’m not sure how to look into Financial Aid or even if I could get any with my history.

So yeah, there’s everything, I think. If anyone has any advice on where to get started, thanks!

TL;DR Many past mistakes with school and paying stuff, make $12.33/hour full time, almost no savings, $650 roughly expenses per month not including food til December, then lowers to $150 I think/hope. I want to get a degree (prefer online) but have no idea on where to get started. Thanks for any help!
