Hi all, Thanks for the helpful responses. I decided to buy a 1050ti because it's the only non overpriced card available on the market right now and good enough for occasional casual gaming. I am going to put it in the PC I built my dad a few years back, he rarely uses it now, and instead uses the laptop he also inherited from me for the most part. The amount of money I spent is around $200(CAD) vs $1000(CAD). However, someone here suggested into getting into retro gaming. This brought back a ton of nostalgia and I found some amazing deals for an old PS2 ect. on kijiji. I might in the next few hours go and cancel my order, and buy the retro games instead. Anyway thank you very much, whatever the outcome, I am still getting what I wanted and didn't spend 1 grand.
