So every once in a while there's some post about technical analysis, and then some of you chime in and say that you make your stock picks based on fundamental analysis / value investing principles, but once you've made your choice, you use technical analysis for the pick.
I'm curious about what type of TA you perform.
I assume you won't be looking at overly esoteric patterns then. Is it just some quick comparison of where the stock is right now versus what it's various SMAs are?
