Hello all, I am looking to make a Survival Bag of the things I'd need to get by for a potentially prolonged time on what I have, to be prepared to go at a moments notice.
I'd like advice on items that are good quality (buy it for life) good value for all of this.
To help, I've narrowed what I'm looking for to these main subcategories:

Food Related
- Rations
- Means to store/prepare and cook

Water
- Storage
- Purify or make safe.

Clothing -Core clothing to be durable in terrains
- Weather resistant -Hard wearing (socks etc)
Shelter ideas - Either tents or other ideas, hammocks etc?
Hunting/ foraging - Weapons to catch for food - Traps and snares -Equipment for foraging -Even resources and books to help (eg mushrooms etc)
Also bag suggestions.
The reason for posting on here is I feel you guys have a good eye for stuff that not only does the job, but we'll, and for a long time at a good price.
If you feel other subreddit may help please guide me that way too.
