Hey guys, I'm trying to find a new chair. My old IKEA Markus is getting a little long in the teeth, and starting to hurt my back.
I've been looking at a lot of gaming chairs... but honestly don't see the benefit past looking kinda cool (which... sadly, doesn't go with the decor - AP Wife lol), and even then I question the ergonomic benefits.
So anyway, looking at HM chairs now, also come across a few other brands like Steelcase.
I'm average weight and height, but I DO sit at my PC for HOURS a day, after sitting at my workstation for HOURS at work. I exercise frequently enough, but lower back/hip pains do take their toll if not properly supported.
Questions:
Apart from the HM Aeron, what other ones are recommended for my needs? I just don't want my hips/back to complain too much in 10 years :)
Are refurb HMs from ebay/GumTree(craigslist) fine? Has anyone ever had any issues with them? This seems to be the best (sane) route.
Will these chairs really last for life? (Or at least 10 years?)
