Hi. I realize this is a very noob question, but here it goes. I just started investing with Vanguard brokerage account. I bought VTSMX, VGTSX, and VBMFX - put $3k into each, because that's the minimum required. So it's 33/33/33 allocation basically.
That said, I see people often breaking down their portfolios into percentages, like 60% domestic, 30% international and 10% bonds. How do you do that on Vanguard brokerage? Do you literally take a calculator, and start calculating "what would be 60% of total assets" and then move that amount into domestic, and when making new contributors go to the calculator again?
Right now I have $9k total assets, with 33/33/33 breakdown. Is there a convenient way to break it down by percentages, to make it 60/30/10 for example?
