I just found out that my growing boy has been buying 2 of their $3.25 lunches every day. He's thin as can be no matter how much he eats and getting quite tall this year, so I'm fine with him ordering 2 meals, but I'm concerned about the cost and the nutritional value. He said that for $6.50, he receives 2 slices of pizza and some raw celery/carrots which he admitted to not eating much of. He has a water bottle that he takes, so it appears he's not even drinking milk there.

He doesn't like to take his lunch... sometimes ham/cheese, but never leftovers. $6.50/day is just too much. Anyone have suggestions for this age group? I can literally buy an entire pizza for less than that, not just 2 pieces. I'm almost tempted to do so and to send a salad with him each day.

Anyone else with picky teens? I'm open to suggestions. Also, to clarify, we pay money in advance into an online school payment account. He didn't get 2 meals last year, so I didn't realize what has been going on until yesterday.
