Have a deck that is on the first floor with a patio underneath it out of my basement (house is on a hill). When we bought the house they put plywood down so they can sit underneath it when it rains. I ripped up the plywood and now looking to sand it and refinish it. Rest of the deck has an ugly brown paint on it. Do I need to put paint stripper on first and get rid of the paint or can I just sand it down with the paint? No clue what I'm doing and googling it just gave me 30 different answers.Edit: also any other tips would be greatly appreciated via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2xbD1tC
