My box fan that I bought in 2007 by Lasko, you can still buy Lasko box fans (probably not this exact model though)
I've been taking real good care of her these past 10 years, during the summer I take it apart and clean it every two weeks to keep dust from building up and then once every 2 months in the winter.
I typically keep it on either next to me when I sleep or with me in whatever room I'm in for 24 hours a day 7 months out of the year.
I also wash my clothes by hand and sometimes use it to dry my clothes. I also use it to dry my hair and cool down what I bake.
Other than a bit of rust/chipped paint by the knob and the mild discoloration of the handle and knob, it otherwise also looks great. I still have the same screws for it too!
