So I need a textbook and I found an eBook link of the textbook I need for $13 on Ecrater. I knew it was too good to be true so I did research on and sure enough, found people that didn't get their eBook for weeks or had trouble with the payments when they bought from Ecrater. I found some reviews of people saying their buying experience was good and they got what they needed right away. So that's encouraging cause I really don't have money to spend $60 for an eBook and then another $70 for a damn access code.
But there were like 2 reviews I found that said they got scammed and they were saved cause they had PayPal.
How did PayPal save them? What even is PayPal? Is it free? I'm so confused. I really can't afford to have Any money go down the drain. Any advice or recommendations are appreciated. Thanks in advance.
