I've been trying to figure this out for weeks without any success. I'll post a picture of the schematics of my wiring.Basically, I moved into a brand new home and I have a 1 stage furnace with an hrv, and an AC unit. The furnace is wired so the hrv controls when the furnace fan turns on. Up stairs I have two controllers, one is the thermostat. The other is the hrv controller which only has 'on' and 'off' which is why it's frustrating to use.I purchased an ecobee 3 which has 2 slots for an accessory like the hrv. It has an acc+ and acc-The hrv switch however has three wires. (Y G R) and I somehow need to rewire it so the thermostat (furnance) controls the fan not the HRV. Can anyone help me solve this problem as I'm at my wits end with this. Here is the insanely complicated wiring of my house. Some things to note is the thermostat like I said has two extra slots acc+ and acc- specifically for an hrv or erv and I have many extra wires going to the thermostat so extra wires needed is not a problem.I would be SUPER grateful if anyone could give me a little direction on what to do.http://ift.tt/2eZlQSH via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2eIeZQs
