So a little background- I'm 23 and graduated two years ago with a Bachelors in English. I've had a hard time finding publishing jobs (my planned career path) and have been working a full time job at $11.50/hour and a part time one at $15/hour. I make enough to pay for all of my expenses, but not a lot leftover.
My main expenses are car ($260/month) and student loans BUT I've just been told that my grandparents are paying off my loan for me, which is incredibly generous and something I did not expect at all.
So my question is....how bad is it to just move out of my apartment and go somewhere fun and do shitty jobs in an awesome place for a few years? My monthly expenses total about $500/month, so if I get seasonal jobs for a few years I think I could still afford it.
Basically: am I screwing my self over financially and career wise if I just don't save any money or work a real job for a few years?
