Hi all, I am making a few parts for a coffee roaster that will be exposed to temperatures upwards of 700 degrees.I don't have tools for proper metal working, but would like to be able to pour a few parts (from 3d printed masters). At first, I assumed that I would be able to use cement or concrete, but it seems like these parts would crack under quick temperature changes, or degrade quickly. I then thought of using plaster, but have learned that it too may crack. Are there any materials that you could recommend? The part will be a 8 inch diameter cylinder with an internal guide for hot air which may reach the temperature specified.Best, Rob via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2w8Ux2Q
