Hey there. Puerto Rico here. The hurricane passed and a lot of people are fine, but there are still some areas that need help. Culebra, one of the smaller islands to the south east seems to have fallen completely off the grid. But thats not why Im here. We're running an old Coleman Powermate Portable Generator Model # PM0545305.01 and she seems to be choking up after running for a while, more so when she's hooked up to our house. She seemed to be working fine when we tested her earlier in the week and earlier in the day, but now shes choking out a lot. We cleaned the gas filter, air-filter, and threw some carburetor cleaner in the carburetor for good measure and tried throttling her to see if it cleared anything out, but she keeps on choking and coughing a bit. It's gotten to a point that even taking demanding appliances off its load which would normaly run just fine seems to not help (we even killed the pressure pump from our cistern but that barely helped once we hooked the generator back into the house).Any help will be appreciated. I'll try and keep an eye on this thread for the next couple of hours and respond after any suggestions.
