when i finished school i had to serve 3 years of mandatory service (finishing in 2 month) and i am going to study dentistry for 6 years immediately after o finish my service. (now 21 YO)

i will have spare money to invest in the course of this 6 years, and more when i start working.

only book i've read about finance is "rich dad poor dad"

after that i learned that i know nothing about accounting and finance and economy

i dont know the basic terms so i would not even understand what the investing books might try to teach me.

here is an example some one gave me

"I started out with a book on technical analysis and The Intelligent Investor---as much as I enjoy the latter, I don't really understand half of what Graham says. For example, in the second chapter when he talks about inflation, you need to understand how/why inflation happens--not just the definition of inflation--in order to follow what Graham is saying. (I have no clue why.)"

thats exactly what i feel will happen to me if i start reading about investing instead of building a foundation first(which i dont know how) i not only need to understand the dentition but also how they bind to each other and why they are meaningful

some one here advised me to read "A Concise Guide to Macroeconomics, Second Edition" and i might just do that.

but i want to know what others might think...
