I have been living in my apartment in Los Angeles for a little more than two years now. I just got a mail saying that they will be sending us a 120-day notice soon about eviction since they will be developing new property in our land. I understand that I might be entitled to some relocation assistance from my apartment, is that correct? Is there anything I should do and prepare for? Also in the case that there is money involved, how much should I ask for? Rent is about $2000 for a 2 bedroom apartment that I split with a roommate.
Any advice is appreciated!
