I cleaned out my deep freezer today (yay for accomplishing things!!) and I found a ribeye steak and a venison roast, both which are over a year old. How would you cook these? On one hand, if I have a "compromised" piece of meat, I would do something with it in the slow cooker. On the other hand, neither of these are meats that I would usually slow cook. The steak is in a vacuum sealed and has a small amount of freezer burn on one corner where a small amount of air got in. The venison is wrapped in butcher paper.
