Are there any rules of thumb on what to spend on a basement(% of house worth?)
We bought a house with an unfinished basement. It is all framed out, has lighting ready, electrical run, insulation, windows, and has plumbing ready for a bathroom. So I think it just needs some drywall, ceiling, finishes, etc.
I am trying to come up with a rough budget before we start interviewing people to do the work.
Any ideas? It should be cheaper with the above work already done correct?
The house is about 500k basement is around 1200 square feet.
