Do I contact them? Are they hard to get a hold of since the breach happened? does that affect me at all?
If i don't contact them do I contact someone else? What if i try to contact them but can't? (also i want to keep al communication written).
I see all sorts of websites saying they have to reply or it's as some say a "Serious" violation. Do two of the disputes were late payments from 2012 on cards i settles for less than full ...one is reporting more lates than there was (also saying i had late payments after the closing day) . the other is contradictif info.
the third is a collections i don't recognize ($600 to blill collector from cap1.. but the only cap1 card i had is that one i settled and disputing late payment ingo.
I just wanted the payments deleted (and ideally that collections but i've been fighting that battle for a while portfoio recovery us ruthless.. $600 and i legit don't own it. I asked them for validation and they sent me two random paymen hisroys (no name, no contract, no dates, just two random pages with 4 purchased that totaled like $39.. plus $540 in interest???
is this 45 day thing a way to push for full deletes for all 3? (i asked them to delete the correction... the other two are settled less than full and from 2012 (chase and cap1 neither would do me a goodwill favor to lay off me when i asked.. so i just want the paymnt accuate at least. but full deletes would be way bettr lol.
also am i entitled money? am i supposed to sue for money? is it a hassle? I'd be happy with just some deletions. at least updates. but if i can get deltions and someone says they owe me money, i won't say no.
they did just lose al my info as im in the last legs of of a 4 year marathon to rebuild it, i'm not usually a suing kinda person but this company is kinda dropping the ball left and right it seems. my report is innacurate, they didn't respond within the legal time of my dispute letter (i have receipt), and they let hackers have my identity lol....
sorry that could have been shorter... but who the heck do i calll or write to or email and what do i say? also i cant afford a lawyer if that what i'd have to do to get any compensation for any violations.
Honestly i just want my report as cleaned up as possible and ill be happy. but if they're givin' away money the AG or consumer prtection says they have to give me.. then 3 deletes and a moey be like winning the lotto. Although id be happy with what i asked for to. or anything in between.
and i'm wondering if this breach is a good thing for my dispute, or simply another layer to an already exiting headace.)
