A single Debt collector is holding 4 seperate old accounts on me for a total of $4689. The original crap was from credit cards. They are offering to settle right now for $2813 in total. This has gone on for years and has destroyed my credit. So getting that back on track is a huge consideration. Should I take advantage of this offer? I do have some other bad credit items out there but not much more than these guys are holding on me.
I'm about to get divorced finally after 2 years of separation so I also need to take the timing into account.
