tl;dr I made a large eBay purchase with my card as payment, PayPal withdrew from my savings, and PayPal won't fix it.
Explicit customer deceit at PayPal's benefit (lower processing fees), I made an eBay purchase for $3k and selected my credit card for payment.
The payment proceeds to be charged to my bank account and PayPal claims eBay at fault, half an hour of PayPal support claimed there is nothing they can do and eBay made the mistake.
eBay does not connect to my bank account, PayPal does. This seems to be a circular attempt of blame.
This is an issue, I did not anticipate withdrawing $3k of funds from my savings until approx a month from now when I make a payment.
Advice?
