Went to a local store looking for those coasters for moving a heavy computer desk across shag carpet without it falling apart. It's one of those made of stapled together particle board.
They didn't have any, only a wooden thing with wheels for about $25.00 absurd amount to spend for something I would use only once.
I thought of trying one of those lids from a small plastic shoebox sized plastic container like that sell at discount stores for a few bucks.
It works great!
So just for all you movers out there I hope this saves you money and pain.
