I received the check July 31st by priority 2-day mail, it was the only thing in the package. Here's a picture. I went to their website and the person that signed it is one of their senior sales staff.
Don't think it's best to tell what company it's from, but they're from Texas and I've never ordered or even heard about them. Also, if it's a scam company and they had my public info or search history or whatever, they would definitely know that I like the type of products the store sells. However, the check seems completely real (has the right watermarks, "heat sensitive shield," the company is definitely real, etc.) aside from the fact that the Memo section is completely missing.
Is this just the shittiest scam ever, a mistake, or what?
