Hi everyone! So I just started leasing a new car and got something known as a Progressive SnapShot Device which apparently measures your driving behavior and after a certain time you can get a discount.
So, my understanding is that hard brakes, jack-rabbit acceleration and basically anything considered "reckless" will be noted and your potential discount drops off after that.
I was driving today and as I was turning into my driveway I got a single beep which apparently denotes hard braking (although I was decelerating normally...) When I checked my status however it said that it did not detect a hard brake.
I'm just wondering how many times you can "screw up" before Progressive starts taking away your potential discount, as I feel whatever I got beeped for was not legitimate.
