Post 1 Post 2 I was in the process of fixing some wood around my house which requires me to remove the top of my deck. When I pulled off the top I saw that there were some holes in 2 of the 4 deck posts. It's hard to tell if that is termite or rot damage. I haven't figured out how extensive the damage is, but I can stick a screwdriver completely down in there. What are my possible options here? Is it possible to fill the hole with some type of epoxy or filler, sister a new post, or pull out the damaged posts and put new ones in there? Also, what's the best way of determining the extent of the damage...drill small holes down the post to see where it is hollow? Any help is greatly appreciated. via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2xdsWcH
