Hello guys. A couple of weeks ago i bent the cpu socket pins by accident, they were bent so bad that they’re non repairable not unless i replace the cpu socket, so thats what i tried to do, i took off the original socket without ripping any pads, and I installed the new one and everything seemed fine to me at first , after i was done i noticed that the socket was off by a couple of centimeters meaning that some solder balls on the socket didnt make contact with the pads on the motherboard, so i took off the new one and i found solder bridges that dont seem to come off , i tried using solder wick and still they didnt go away i tried with the iron tip both the sharp one and the flat head and they still dont come off i dont know what to do now, i need help. Here is a link to the pictures, after removing the original socket and after removing the new one. http://ift.tt/2vAGD8Q pictures of the pad via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2wtexJp
