I am looking at buying a Samuelsohn suit for ~$1,300. The suit will be full canvas and feels quite good so far. I initially thought I would be getting a bespoke suit, but it seems to be a custom MTM type suit. She has been gathering measurements to send to the shop, all I need to do now is pick fabric. The tailor seems to have a good eye, she has noticed my right shoulder is lower than my left, and due to having a very upright posture my sleeves will need to be rotated to accommodate this. She plans to do more tailoring when the suit arrives.

Reasons to go with the MTM, I am in need of a suit by mid-October. Maybe I could get one MTM suit, see how it fits and purchase another MTM if I like the first. Or go with a bespoke suit for the second suit.

Is spending this much for a MTM worth it, or if I should save up to >$2,000 to purchase a bespoke suit. Granted, I am not sure if I could even find a bespoke tailor in my city, Oklahoma City.
