My sister [24] and I [22] are moving out next 2 months. Our place will have coin laundromat and washer/dryer hook up .
My options are:

Use coin laundry facility. Don't really like it since it's expensive and take time. Estimate $8/week or more.

Buy used washer dryer set for around ~$500. No idea about warranty. But we would save lot of time and much more convenience.

Buy cheap new set for around ~$800 with (3-5 years) warranty.
We don't have problem paying up front. Just want a best value choice.
I rather have a peace of mind than a paranoid of things breaking down when needed; Since we would be working and having to wait for repair is a pain.
