As an example I want to know specifically how annuity fees are applied, do they affect cost basis in the annuity, how are they applied and withdrawn from the account etc and all a google search turns up is pages upon pages talking generally about fees but not getting into the technical details of how they work exactly.
Another example: I wanted to know the rules and exceptions to the rule for early withdrawal fees on Simple 401ks and Keogh plans and even IRS publications hardly devote a sentence or two to these types of accounts in their publications on these topics.
Is there any source out there where professionals can get the answers to these types of questions? I'm sure some of you on this sub or other subs may know these answers which, while helpful, is kind of giving me a fish instead of teaching me to fish, I'd hate to have to ask reddit ever time I have one of these detailed questions.
