Hello everyone,

I am doing a project in a graduate class. I need to analyze the returns of 401(k)'s and I am building a model. However I am finding some difficulty finding data. Most importantly, I need the mean and standard deviation of the annual returns of 401(k)'s (or a data set of course) so I can run some simulations.

I tried searching through Google and trying to get the info from a broker like Fidelity to no avail.

Any ideas to find it or does someone have this information from a credible source (which I can cite)?
