High Intensity Training(HIT) has been gaining popularity in recent years, with many research showing the immense benefit to health. What is less well know is that we really need to go to gym much less often than we think. With a good HIT workout, resting a full week before the next session actually allow your body to recover properly.
While it may not apply to professional athletics, adopting this approach have save me both time and money. I am also stronger than the days where I go to gym 3 times a week with only 70% of my energy in each session.
Few gym consultant will tell you that you really do not need to be there so often. But in certain things, less is more.
PS: I did not include any link to avoid this post being seen as a promotion. Do your own research, and you will find strong evidence supporting this approach.
