earnings this week have been interesting, some have beat and some have missed but I guess the real question is, is retail really dead? I think there is a big paradigm shift that is occurring where companies are going to have to improve online services and maybe consolidate a bit. I think we are not going to see an absolute death of retail but I think we will see some consolidation. The big companies in retail will probably survive and once this period of change is over could return value for years to come.
