There's this company I am very interested in investing. I sent the management an email seeking clarification on some matter. Management replied very frankly that one of their major expansion projects will be delayed by two quarters. This information, as far as I can tell, has not been communicated to shareholders.
My question is, if I forward the email chain to news outlets, and if they deem it important enough to write-up a news story about it...is it wrong for me to then buy the company in the face of a sell-off from the adverse newsflow?
Just curious about this.
