Not exactly a new trend, but have noticed an uptick in offers from Cyprus, Aruba, etc in my email box. With spots like New Zealand being seen as a refuge in case it all goes belly up. Appeal for high net worth individuals to have multiple passports can be viewed as the ultimate diversification.
