I have been working for a year now and I have met my emergency savings goal again! My goal was $4,000. Since I live with two other people, my rent is only about $325 a month, plus my share of utilities. So $4k could potentially last me about six months if anything happens to my job or mental health. If I had some kind of medical problem or if my car broke down and my relationship went to shit all at the same time I might have some issues, but I think that's pretty unlikely.

Now I just have to not touch the money this time. (We had a family vacation last time I met my goal.) Saving up for a plane ticket to Thailand in January, and I'd like to get a Nintendo switch when the weather starts getting cold so that I have something to keep my mind occupied. Then beyond that, I need to start putting a dent in the $56k debt I have from attempting medical school.

I also want to look into getting a job that pays more. I'm happy enough making about $20/hr right now, but I'd like to do something a bit more challenging that pays more. Getting paid hourly is a bummer too, because a lot of times I am sitting around waiting for the clock to run out instead of working as efficiently as possible and then going home.

So those are my goals! Just wanted to share.
