hey guys! so it's my second year of college and to be honest first year was terrible for me since i wasn't really mature at first and if i had anything saved i would spend it on clothes or make up , sigh.
This year i want it to be different, for example, this week i had to spend a little more cause i moved to a new place and i had to buy a lot of stuff i didn't have.
I avoid eating out but something it's something i can help because i'm a very social person and my friends love to just go outside and eat or spend a lot in bars which i used to do all the time but now i wanna be a smart saver.
I've noticed that one of my biggest problems is food, not food in general but junk.
Let's say i'm in class and i packed a small lunch, baby carrots or a banana, i eat it and two hours later i'm hungry again and what do i do? go to the cafeteria and buy some junk and even if it doesn't seem much at the end of the day every penny counts.
Any advice for this college student struggling to save money?
