Basically, I left my solid job at a great company to join a tech company because the bonus structure was extremely lucrative (I work in B2B sales). After having a record breaking month at the company and reaching the highest possible payout, my boss told me today that they were changing the comp structure that will effectively make it much more difficult to reach the same level of financial success each month.

I have a sense that this change in structure would not have happened if I didn't surpass their expectations and achieve an extremely high payout in the first month, but I think it's irrelevant.

What I'm trying to figure out is....is this something I should confront the director of sales about? I don't have any intention of leaving this company, but they essentially brought me on false pretenses, because they changed the rules of the game, and now I have to bring in practically 2x as much pipeline to see the same monthy financial benefit.

What the fuck should I do?
