Hi everyone,
I am moving (flying) from Chicago to New York and have to move all my things. I already have two suitcases and anticipate needing the equivalent of hopefully just 2 more. Maybe 3.
I started packing a few things a couple weeks ago and bought a second suitcase already. Despite going to TJ Maxx, or Marshalls, I can't remember, it still ended up being something like $70. To be candid, I never really had the frugal mindset up until recently. I work in finance and it's just not really the most conducive atmosphere. However, I recently realized I could cut back on unnecessary expenses and and save a ton of money - what a shocking revelation! But really, $70 for a bag which holds my things seems ridiculous.
Anyways, any ideas? I'm leaning towards picking up 2 or 3 $30 duffel bags from Amazon. Albeit I guess I'll still pay checked bag fees on top of that. The bags seem pretty flimsy but can hopefully make the short trip.
