http://ift.tt/2vOhJBy've had this $10 table for a few years and I've always wanted to give it a facelift. Just put some glossy spray paint (I wish I could be more specific, my dad just assured me it was ok to use for the project) on the legs, and after a little sanding (used sanding paper, 220) I put a Bombay Mahogany wood stain on the top. I didn't bother stripping the previous green paint, only because it has literally 8 layers of paint below it, and I didn't feel like going through the trouble. This is truly a lipstick-on-a-pig scenario, and I'm fine with that. This is really my first ever attempt at staining/painting. I figured I couldn't really hurt a $10 table. But if anyone has feedback/advice for my next project, I'd love to hear! via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2v2o0qM
