I have learned a lot and made a lot from reverse engineering successful stocks and options trades. For example, seeing a stock that has gone up >%100 over the last 12 months and then going back to the time before the breakout and understanding why the breakout occurred and where I could have gotten the info to capitalize on it. This has helped me understand "catalyst" to look out for and features of a good investment or trade. I have also done things similar in real estate i.e. looking at successful flips and figuring out where/who I could have gotten the property details before everyone else. Would you all be interested in some of these case studies that show the above average performing investments, why they performed so well, what "criteria" to look out for in the future, how to possibly find these investment opportunites in the future?
