I've been looking at buying 2k out of my 20k portfolio in an international stock ETF. More specifically, VXUS. However, I feel that I should have international exposure, but I cant really figure out why. When the market collapses (if it does), will this international exposure do well? Whats a good reason to have this in your portfolio?
