At the risk of getting a thousand "there are too many variables", I'm interested in the math that the community thinks is a realistic salary one would need to have to be contributing all of the max amounts each year while still being able to afford a decent quality of life. For the sake of this question, feel free to use average costs in your city/state to see how this changes across the country.

Edit: Does this salary need change if we assume the person is single vs married with multiple children (single earner household)?

Feel free to make any assumptions you'd like; this is an exercise, not specifically geared towards me and my lifestyle.
