I'm not talking about investments with average 5-10% a year compound growth for 60 years. I mean extreme long-term.
Where could I put $5000 and expect, say 2% growth a year (in real terms) for 1000 years with say at least a 2% chance that the money doesn't get embezzled along the way?
The idea would then be to spend the $2tr+infl. towards colonizing a nearby planet.
Sorry if this isn't really in the spirit of the sub.
