Finally had the last straw. The culture, the policies, the work itself. I finally had enough to put in my 2 weeks and am moving to a new city to chase my dreams. I'm sure that makes r/p-fi cringe but guess what; there's more to life than a paycheck and if the work is making you miserable it's time to reevaluate. Family and health are most important to me and the former job caused me to neglect both. I'm probably just going to do odd jobs and start flipping again to decompress from the hell-hole I was in. It will feel good to earn money "myself" again. Luckily I have a decent emergency fund saved so getting by for a little while shouldn't be a problem. I plan to travel the entire country (and possibly world) with my last paychecks to do some more soul searching. My dreams and family are more valuable and will lead to more happiness than any number in a bank account (or portfolio 😉)
