I just moved into a house that, 2 owner's ago, had a steam shower in the master bath. The unit was an Aqua Glass ASM-2 (aka Steamist SM-5). The last set of owners took out the steam head and the control for the unit, replacing the shower frame with a multi-panel shower stall. The issue that I'm having is that the shower water never gets very hot. It's pretty consistent but never gets higher than ~85 degrees. The shower has a single knob for the water that turns the water on and controls the temp. From speaking with Steamist, it's basically not possible for the steam unit to be controlling the water temp since the panel and head were removed. The water sources in the rest of the house (including the sinks in the master bath) do not have this problemAny thoughts on how I might be able to adjust the shower temperature range? via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2uGqBr0
