I want to mount the motor and pump from a Sear Air Compressor to a Husky air tank. I suspect that the tank on the Sears Compressor is in bad shape, although it's been a light duty champ for 9 years. I have a 26 gallon Husky tank that I'd like to bolt the old Sears top unit to.I plan to cut the four welds on the Sears tank and throw the pump/motor on the Husky tank, plumb and wire it. Here's the question- Can I do this without welding? I'd get two steel square tubes, drill them and bolt everything together. With vibration and overall safety, can this be done without welding? Follow up- If this is a weld job, how do I find a welder and how much would this run?Sears: http://ift.tt/2uH93Lk: http://ift.tt/2v2iXd6 http://ift.tt/2uHe1YA advice/suggestions/input appreciated! via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2v430ml
